“Is 7th May 2013  my Lucky Day ?”… I hope so…

I have booked my CCIE wireless lab exam on 7th May 2013 in Cisco -Sydney Lab. One objective of booking my lab is to motivate myself and avoid dragging the timeline of this project(achieving my ccie wireless). Considering the low success rate of passing the ccie wireless exam at first attempt, I have planned for my 2nd attempt within year 2013 (3-4 months later).

I have got the workbook from IPExpert (only Volume 1 as other material not yet ready) & fastlane. But practice rack is the concern for me.IPexpert v2.0 rack is not yet ready & fastlane racks are very expensive(195 USD per day). Also in fastlane racks we have to book for whole day(no 8 hr slots available as IPExpert). At this stage I am learning technologies & not effective booking a rack for whole day & spent 5-6 hr rack time.

Therefore I have to rely on limited equipment I have in my home lab & try to set up a basic lab close to in these workbook lab topology. I have to spend time on modifying the initial config/etc. But this is the only option available for me at this time.

Only 217 days left for me… Time to study again.
