As you all know I had peaceful time to finish 2019 and came back from a silent meditation retreat with great satisfaction. There are some exciting news to share with you all.
- Winner of Cisco IT Blog Award 2019 – Best Analysis Category
I am humbled to receive 2019 – Cisco IT Blog Award for “Best Analysis” category . I have started my blog in 2012 with no expectation of receiving such recognition or connecting with rest of the world in this scale. Thank you for all of you who supported me during past 7 years and voted for my blog to give me such a honor.
2. Cisco Designated VIP – 2020 (for 7th time)
I used to spend my time on Cisco Community forum since 2013 (after my CCIE Wireless cert). All those years Cisco recognized that contributions and selected me as Cisco Designated VIP for past 7 years. I am glad to be part of 2020 group and hope to contribute in this year too.
3. Cisco Champion – 2020 (for 4th time)
As I briefed earlier, every year Cisco rewards community members who influence others on Cisco technologies. They have made an early announcement prior to formal announcement in mid Jan. They are still reviewing these applications, so you may be one in this year (if you have applied for it). It is a great community to be part of and looking forward to 2020 as a Cisco champion
4. Attending WLPC & CiscoLive Conferences
During 2019 WLPC, I have been awarded “WLPC Person of the Year“, again due to contribution given to wireless community through my blog activities. I am glad to be part of that conference in this year. Also planning to attend Cisco Live Melbourne & Cisco Live US events too. I may be there in few other conferences 2nd half of the year (will let you know closer to those events).
If you are coming to any of these event, please stop by and say Hi. I am keen to meet you in person.
WLPC – Phoenix, USA (Feb 16 – 21)
CLMEL – Melbourne, AU (Mar 3-6)
CLUS – Las Vegas, USA (May 31 – Jun 4)
5. Melbourne Cisco User Group
I am glad to be part of organizing committee of this event sponsored by Cisco. It is happening first Tuesday of every month (Except Jan & Nov – Due to New year & Melbourne Cup holiday). If you are in Melbourne, I would encourage you to participate for this networking event and expand your friendships.
Happy New Year and Congratulations!
Your blogs are a wealth of information. If I am looking for Cisco specific how to’s I always trust the information when I see you as the author.
