Hello Nayarasi, Congratulations to you and your cooperative family. I tried the lab last week but couldn’t make it. I am not sure but someone shared on this blog regarding issue about mobility client – unable to see all ssids etc. Was that comment from you? Because, I had the same issue and was unable to see any ssids. I did check my config/radio/status etc multiple times and tried to tell proctor if he can take a look or reboot the client m/c but he said it should not be our side issue and most of the time it’s your config issues. I couldn’t do any testing as I was not seeing any ssid in client. Also, we don’t have access to edit the NAM etc. Finally I gave up but not very happy, as, proctor even did not put any effort to check on his side. Even in real world, I have seeen this sort of issues specially while you are doing something using RDP/remote utility. Any advise or suggestion on this please? thank you in advance rb
Hi Rupal,
Sad to hear that you did not success your lab attempt, but I am sure it helped you to better prepare next time.
Where was your lab location ? In my both attempts I had this SSID not visible issue. Both time proctor fixed it for me by rebooting the client PC (not 100% sure what he did to fix it). In fact prior to start the lab, he told us if you see something like that, bring it to his attention immediately, which I did.
I think it is unfortunate, your proctor did not help you on this. I think you could do the “Network repair” on anyconnect client to see that make any difference. Sometime in practice labs I did that if I cannot see my SSID visible.
Good luck next time..never give up
Regards
Rasika
Congratulations
Thanks Syed
thx a lot Nayarasi for the update related to ssid not visible. I went to RTP and asked proctor many times if he can at least take a look but he did not pay much attention. I spent almost last 2 hours in checking my config if i’m missing something on myside but it was ok. I had “disable wireless/manage network /connect…” option not available at all. I did not try network repair. Anyways, I don’t believe in much complaining but focus on the next step now and I’m sure I will make it next time. In fact, I found so much valuable info on this blog and I appreciate all efforts & time put by all…
thx again,
rb

Hello Rasika,
Can you help me with the Lab preparations as I am very much interested in getting this CCIE Wireless, would really appreciate.
Thanks
Hi
If you go through my blog, it gives an idea what topics you need to know about (go through lab exam blue print for exact list)
Then you need to practice it by yourself until you understand & able to configure/troubleshoot.

Thanks bro and I am doing a job of CISCO Trainer and pursuing CCIE R&S is it a good career path how can we shift job to a company?
I am working as Cisco network trainer and dealing with CCNA,CCNP in R&S and CCNA security and am i doing right job?
How to switch into a company as network engineer? or i have to learn some more technologies i am planning to learn CCIE R&S.
Get your CCIE R&S , that will make your job hunt easy.
Also research what companies you like to work & establish some relationship with them, telling why you need to work for them.
Good luck
